Y Before & After School Enrichment provides a safe, supportive space where kids can finish homework, play, create, and participate in loads of fun activity choices with their friends -- all while busy parents manage their workday. Parents enjoy peace of mind knowing their children are safe and happy, and children go home happy, ready to rest and prepared for the next day. It's a win-win!

Y Before & After School Enrichment is conveniently located in 40+ elementary schools in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, and Harford Counties. Existing Y Before & After School families can register for the 2024/2025 school year starting January 1st. Open enrollment for new families begins January 22. PROGRAM BENEFITS AND FEATURES

Children enjoy a safe space to finish homework, unwind from the school day, and participate in lots of activity choices with their friends -- all while parents are working.
Enrichment programming includes our exclusive iDiscover series, strategy games, dedicated homework time, art, imaginative play, healthy snacks, daily exercise, and more.
Choose from before school enrichment, after school enrichment or both. Full time (5 days a week) or part time (3 days a week) options are available.
For most schools, before school enrichment begins at 7:00am and after school enrichment ends at 6:00pm.
Friendly associates create a safe, caring environment where kids can flourish.
Families of two or more full-time enrolled children may receive 10% off for additional siblings registered for the same school year.
Y Open Doors Savings may help lower your cost by up to 75%. In most cases, we also accept Child Care Subsidy (CCS) vouchers. LEARN MORE.

EXCLUSIVE IDISCOVER SERIES

iDiscover is a series of fun, age-appropriate enrichment choices that are centered around 21st Century Skills and College & Career Readiness. Hands-on activities are based on themes designed to promote discovery through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math). Below are just a few of our iDiscover themes:

Y Before & After School Enrichment also includes strategy games, art, imaginative play, on-site "field trips" with special guests, healthy snacks, dedicated homework time, daily exercise, and more!

Y Membership for Healthy Youth and Families

Being a part of a supportive, active, and caring community is essential to good health and well-being. That’s why all families participating in Y Before & After School Enrichment receive a Y family membership included with enrollment! The membership continues annually at no cost, even during school holidays and summer months, provided you re-enroll by June 1st each year.
